"Hunter X Hunter" predictions are hinting that chapter 353 of the manga will be focused on Chrollo's powers and abilities. The chapter will, specifically, focus on his origin's and powers, including the secret to how he acquired them.
Flashing back to "Hunter X Hunter 352," it can be brought forth that Chrollo placed a challenge on Hisoka, asking him if he wanted to continue the fight. In actual terms, however, Chrollo is uninterested about the fight while Hisoka remains relentless.
"Hunter X Hunter" predictions point out that Chrollo is only buying time, waiting to unleash an undisclosed trick at his opponent while the crowd watches. Some speculations are particularly pointing out that he will put himself against the crowd to give Hisoka a barrier to attack. This way, Hisoka will have second thoughts about attacking because of the harm he would bring to innocent bystanders.
If this happens, "Hunter X Hunter" fans are mystified about Hisoka's next move, especially with his desire of acquiring Chrollo's bookmark. According to enthusiasts' suggestions from Reddit, he may proceed to use a Bungee Gum by making it invisible, attaching it to a card, and ultimately striking Chrollo.
After this, Chrollo will lose the bookmark and render him helpless. Nevertheless, he will not stand vulnerable, but will, instead use his powers of appearance swapping magic. It was noted that in "Hunter X Hunter" 352," he used similar trickery, which resulted to the referee attacking Hisoka.
It was also seen from the same chapter that Chrollo was controlling both the fight and the referee. He was explaining some of his abilities, something that made "Hunter X Hunter" fans wonder why he did so, especially because he explained them along with their conditions.
Apparently, it turned out that this could be a part of the conditions of Chrollo's Nen abilities. According to Manga Helpers, it could also mean that the Phantom Troupe leader was playing with Hisoka's mind or trying to establish the conditions of his powers by explaining them first.
Some fans feel that Chrollo cannot reveal his abilities just to lose, and that his actions in "Hunter X Hunter 352" were a sign that he will eventually have his victory in future. But then again, these are just speculations and the next turn of events will be seen when "Hunter X Hunter 353" is released.
