Sources report that Hollywood's power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is on the brink of a divorce due to cheating allegations. Pitt has allegedly grown tired of Jolie's jealousy, which stemmed from the former's rumored romance with "Five Seconds of Silence" co-star Marion Cotillard.
"She's prone to think that since she was once Brad's co-star and seduced him away from his wife, the same will happen to her," a source revealed. Jolie was famously accused of stealing Pitt from Jennifer Aniston. Pitt and Aniston were married for five years before divorcing.
The source added that Jolie supposedly resents Cotillard, and that she is playing the kind of role Jolie always wanted to portray. Although Pitt acted alongside other beautiful women in past movies, Jolie reportedly sees Cotillard as a particular threat.
Pitt is currently in England shooting "Five Seconds of Silence" with Cotillard, Hindustan Times reported. As filming went on, the 52-year-old actor started "getting emotionally attached" to the Oscar-winning actress. Pitt and Cottilard play a couple in the movie, and while they portray a convincing chemistry onscreen, many of the crew members believe that their affair has become a reality.
Jolie's excessive jealously reportedly led Pitt to consider filing for divorce.
This is not the first time, however, that Jolie's rumored jealousy took a toll on their marriage. In the past, she reportedly fired a nanny who was "being a little too friendly" to the point of flirting with Pitt.
News of the divorce comes week after Jolie's weight decreased to a shocking 35 kilos. According to the rumor mill, her tragic weight loss is caused by excessive smoking and wine drinking.
Meanwhile, according to Us Magazine, the Jolie-Pitt pack has temporarily moved to London as the actress takes on several political projects in England. The couple reportedly spends $21,000 a month for an eight-bedroom mansion in Surrey, which is said to have "all the modern conveniences."
The couple's children - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne - also enjoy their new home.
"Angie would pick it as their permanent home if she could," a source said.
