The latest news concerning "Kingdom Hearts 3" are pointing out at its likely announcement at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016. Voice recording of the game is also underway as some voice actors have confirmed of their involvement.
Senior Editor Jakejames Lugo of The Koalition had a chance to speak with the producer of "Kingdom Hearts Unchained X," Hironori Okayama recently. In the interview, Okayama disclosed that fans should hear some news regarding "Kingdom Hearts 3" at the E3 2016.
This means that Square Enix will likely announce the release date of the game during the event. As of now, no much information has been revealed about the game, except important details mentioning the consoles which it will feature.
Currently, only two consoles have been mentioned, which are PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. No PC version has been mentioned, although if Square Enix's promise to look into PC development for "Final Fantasy 15" is anything to go by, then "Kingdom Hearts 3" might as well get included in future.
There is a glimmer of hope that "Kingdom Hearts 3" fans will see the game earlier than expected. This owes to the ongoing voice recording that has been confirmed by various voice actors. However, some actors like Quinton Flynn have publicized that Square Enix is yet to call them for the voice recording.
On the other hand, actor Jim Cummings has already affirmed that he is already involved in the voice recording of the upcoming game. Even though this is the case, the game is far from being finished, Attack of The Fan Boy reported.
There is a lot of hearsays from fans that Square Enix may be planning to acquire more than just Disney characters as the company currently owns "Star Wars" and Marvel franchises. Gaming analysts are taking this as a possibility because Disney Infinity already has these characters.
What the analysts are really sure, however, is that fans should not expect "Kingdom Hearts 3" any time this year. This is because Square Enix is concentrating its efforts on releasing "Final Fantasy 15" on Sep 30. With this at hand, "Kingdom Hearts" game will be out by 2017 at its earliest.
