Avid fans of hit sitcom "Friends" now have a new reason to be optimistic on a possible reunion. Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry are set to star on two new CBS shows airing in October.

Considering the extreme anticipation the "Friends" cast appearance on James Burrows tribute show in February got, CBS may finally work something out for the ensemble cast. It begins with LeBlanc starring in a new sitcom entitled "A Man with the Plan" while Perry will be returning for the third season of "Perry's Odd Couple." Both shows are slated to air every Monday nights.

The actor who gave life to Joey Tribbiani, LeBlanc teased that president and CEO of CBS Corporation Les Moonves may be brewing something big. He is the same person who spearheaded "Friends" for 10 seasons from 1994-2004.

"It's funny because Les Moonves put us together in the first place when he ran Warner Bros.," LeBlanc said in an interview with Zap2it. "So maybe that's his plan. Maybe he's the man with the plan."

LeBlanc added that there is a possibility his show and Perry's may have crossover episodes as well. He said, "Sure, we'll see what happens. My show is set in Pittsburgh and I think his is in New York so it's not too far away, right? Just a train ride."

When asked directly if there are ongoing talks on a possible "Friends" reunion, LeBlanc immediately debunked the rumors. The six cast members have been hounded by questions regarding the reunion and it may be safe to say that it would not stop anytime soon. Nevertheless, LeBlanc said that he does not get tired of these questions as "Friends" is definitely the greatest thing that happened in his life.

In other news, Jennifer Aniston's estranged mother, Nancy Dow has passed away at the age of 79, The Independent reported. The actress was rushed to the hospital earlier this week but her condition just got worse, leading to her demise on May 26. The actress suffered from stroke in 2011 and she was diagnosed with it once again in 2015.
