Bruce Jenner, a former Olympian athlete, recently broke his silence amid rumors and speculations about his sexuality to his family and reality TV stars "The Kardashians." The family has shown their total support with his decision to come out.
The 65-year-old former decathlon athlete will be starring in an upcoming reality TV series about his transition, how he revealed his actual sexuality with his former wife Kris Jenner, his family, his children, and sons and daughters from previous marriages, Reuters reported.
"Bruce told them everything - where things stood, what his plans were for the future, and what everyone could expect," a source identified by People as a "family insider" told the magazine.
"Everyone basically knew what was up, but it was still a shock to hear it outlined so explicitly." The family came around pretty quickly according to source, and all they want is for him to be happy.
A news from Buzzfeed.com discloses that the former athlete will have a one-on-one interview with TV personality Diane Sawyer on ABC discussing his coming out as a transgender on national TV.
Moreover, some transgender are not too happy with the Jenner controversy. A transgender reported slammed The Kardashian patriarch for using his transition to sell a TV series.
Zoey Tur, a leader in the LA transgender community told TMZ that the public has been curious and with his connection with "The Kardashians" he should simply come out.
Tur admits that the transgender community needs Jenner because of his high profile status. They see him as a role model, and nothing beats a role model than the world's greatest athlete.
