The prices for microtransactions of the "Overwatch" video game have been released after it was launched recently. Players can find cosmetic items in the loot boxes that they can use to customize their characters.
The popular online shooter game that was launched just recently has now revealed the prices of its microtransactions for players to choose from, according to Dual Shockers. Players can get loot boxes in the game, but they can also get these boxes randomly for free as they level up through the game. Blizzard has encouraged fans to enjoy the game, and purchase the boxes if they can afford the prices.
The loot boxes that players will get either through level up, or by purchases contain cosmetic items that can be used on their characters, according to IGN. These items could be sprays, skins, and extra voice lines for the characters the players are using.
Players who want to purchase the loot boxes can choose from five options. They can get two loot boxes and it only costs $2, five loot boxes for the price of $5, 11 loot boxes for only $10, 24 loot boxes for $20, and 50 loot boxes for $40. Other players from other areas also have their own corresponding prices for each option.
Console owners who have the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One version of the game can purchase the loot boxes directly on their corresponding in-game stores. From Battle.net, the PC players can purchase the boxes directly there, and they can also choose the regional pricing for each option.
Blizzard has not announced any experience boosters for the online shooter video game to level up a player's character. Currently, a player can only customize the look of their character with the items they can loot from the boxes.
Players of the game can expect different types of loot boxes, which range from common, rare, epic, and legendary. These boxes will contain at least one rare quality or a better item, even if it is a common version of the box. If a player will get a duplicate of the item, players will receive in-game credits instead for them to spend on other items in the game.
