The latest details for Blizzard Entertainment's upcoming shooter game, "Overwatch" will feature a new story trailer, an early release and a solution for cheaters within the game.
Blizzard revealed their counter measures in spotting cheating gamers when they play "Overwatch" online as they stated in the game's official forum website that they will permanently "banned" from playing the game if they use hacks, bots or a third-party software.
Gamers are encourage to report to Blizzard about players who are cheating during matches in "Overwatch" by emailing directly to them or by reporting during in-game sessions. Blizzard added that "Overwatch's" Play of the Games will occasionally misrepresent the player's actions, showing them to be "more snappy" or "less fluid" than in reality.
In other news, Blizzard released a new animated story trailer for "Overwatch" titled "Dragons" which features the backstory of the Shimada brothers, Hanzo and Genji. The film starts wiith Hanzo infiltratiing a fortresss in Japan as he takes down every guard inside. The scene shifts with the tale of the two dragons, who have protected the land through balance, but they bicker and argue on how to rule it until it turned into violence. The southern wind dragon defeated the northen wind dragon, but his victory and solitude became a disturbance to him. The dragon was then visited by a stranger and asked why he was so bothered by the his brothers defeat only to find out that the stranger is his brother and they are reunited once again.
As Hanzo dispatched the guards he then wen inside and sees as sword with a broken chip. It is revealed that the fortress is his family's home and was followed by an unknown cyborg assassin. Hanzo quickly notices the assassin and they engaged in a battle.
The two were evenly matched, but Hanzo used his ability to summon twin dragons and attacked the cyborg assassin, only to find out that he can also summon a dragon of its own. Hanzo asked how he can summon a dragon as only a member of the Shimada clan can do that. It is revealed that the cyborg assassin is his dead brother Genji, who Hanzo had no choice but to kill him for betraying his clan.
As Hanzo was about to be killed, Genji spared him and says that it is not yet his time to die and urges him to accept who he is as Genji accepted his fate. The trailer ends with Genji departing his family's home as Hanzo kneeled in front of hisfamily's shrine the image of th twin dragons was on display hinting that their story is the same.
Lastly, gamers from the United States can get a copy of "Overwatch" a day before its intended launch date as online retailing websites such as Amazon, GameStop and Best Buy. However, the game's servers will be online as scheduled so gamers will have to wait for it to go online on the day itself, VG 24/7 reported.
"Overwatch" is scheduled to be release on May 24 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
