The tech giant Samsung has released two new devices, the Galaxy C7 and Galaxy C5, in China.
Let's take a look at the features and specs of the two devices.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 weighs 143 grams and measures 145.9mm x 72mm x 6.7mm, whereas the Samsung Galaxy C7 weighs 165 grams and measures 156.6mm × 77.2mm × 6.7mm. Both handsets have a complete metal body with curved edges and two thin lines on the back.
The Samsung Galaxy C7 and Samsung Galaxy C5 also have a fingerprint scanner.
The Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 come in two internal storage variants of 64GB and 32GB that can be expanded to 128GB using a microSD card slot. The Galaxy C5 packs a 2600 mAh non-removable battery and the Galaxy C7 packs a 3300 mAh non-removable battery, Slash Gear reported.
The two Samsung devices have a 16MP primary camera that features touch focus, autofocus and face detection and an 8MP secondary camera.
Other features of the Samsung Galaxy C5 include 4GB of RAM, an Adreno 405 graphics card, an octa-core Cortex A53 processor and a Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 processor. The Samsung Galaxy C7 features 4GB of RAM, an Adreno 506 graphics card, an octa-core Cortex A53 processor and Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 processor, Digital Trends reported.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 sports a 5.2-inch super AMOLED screen with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy C7 sports a 5.7-inch super AMOLED screen with 1920×1080 pixel resolution.
The Galaxy C5 and C7 run Android 6.0 Marshmallow and are available in silver, grey, pink-gold and gold.
Connectivity options of the Samsung Galaxy C7 include Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and NFC (with Samsung Pay support).
At present, there is no information on whether the two devices will be available outside of China or not. However, the electronics company did send the C5 through the FCC to get certified, therefore, the possibility of the device coming Stateside in the future is not unlikely.
According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy C7 will cost about $396 and the Samsung Galaxy C5 will cost around $330. Reports also suggest that the Samsung Galaxy C5 will be available from June 6 and is up for pre-orders in China.
