"Girl Meets World" season 3 recently released the first ever photo showing the upcoming episodes' new location.
According to Bustle, one of the new locations for the upcoming episodes of the hit Disney Channel sitcom will take place at the make-believe Mount Sun Lodge.
The same location was previously featured in "Boy Meets World" and it was also known as one of the places where the characters from the previous sitcom experienced some major developments.
The publication also noted that the creators, directors and writers' choice for including Mount Sun Lodge in season 3 could only mean that they are also planning some major storylines and twists for Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) and Lucas (Peyton Meyer).
In season 2, there were some rumors that Lucas will finally choose between Riley and Maya. Unfortunately, the finale episode last season didn't feature such storyline.
Instead, showrunner Michael Jacobs said that "Girl Meets World" isn't really about love triangles and the like so they decided to focus on other things. Still, Jacobs said that this storyline will finally be a part of season 3.
With this, there are some rumors that Lucas could bring either Riley and Maya to the Mount Sun Lodge. This could also be the place where he would confess his feelings, or the lack thereof, for either one of the two teenagers.
Meanwhile, cast member Ben Savage was the one who shared the photo of the Mount Sun Lodge during the present day via Twitter.
"Back to Mount Sun Lodge," he wrote.
In other news, the filming for "Girl Meets World" season 3 is already almost finished.
The writers of the show recently confirmed that they have already completed filming the first half of the show's third season.
They also announced that friendship and loyalty will be the central themes for the show in season 3.
"Girl Meets World" season 3 will premiere on Disney Channel on June 3.
