While speaking with the publication, showrunner Michael Jacobs said that there will be a shift in focus in the show's upcoming installment.

"I think there was a big shift between year 1 and year 2. I think there will be a bigger shift between year 2 and year 3. I think high school is the most confusing, awful, terrible and ultimately - if you do it right - wonderful springboard into college and the rest of your life. These are the episodes that I want you to remember and we're trying to do our best," he said.

Meanwhile, the writers of "Girl Meets World" season 3 have been updating fans with the direction that they are headed in the next couple of episodes.

Just recently, they revealed that they have already finished filming the first half of "Girl Meets World" season 3. The writers have also been sharing some storylines from each of the episodes.

"Working hard. Half the season ready. Very proud. Back next week to start two-part ski lodge. Oh, 'member how the show begins? That's over," the tweet read.

Another post read, "Season 3: 4 episodes adjust to high school, 4 episodes resolve the not triangle, 4 episodes adjust to each other. People will change people."

"Today we begin the second half of what we think is our best season so far. Can't wait until you see it. And a surprise beginning."

In other news, the writers also revealed that they will be sharing a surprise next week so viewers should tune in to their official Twitter page.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 will premiere on Disney Channel next month.
