At last, Ichigo revealed his brand new transformation and is ready to go toe-to-toe with Yhwach. It will be interesting to see if he will be able to scathe the all-powerful enemy and if he will be assisted by his father, Isshin.
Last chapter, Uryu and Jugram's fight continued as the former questioned the latter's ability to foresee the future as it can easily be changed. Then, scene shifted to Ichigo getting some beat-down from Yhwach. Inoue tried to calm him for a moment but to no avail.
As Ichigo was about to be hit by another powerful attack, Inoue unleashed a shield that would protect them both. Then, the Shinigami said he just needed time to unleash the Quincy reiatsu inside of him and he also mentioned that there is someone he needed to jolt awake.
Inoue noticed Ichigo's katana turning white and Yhwach was pleased to see that he is finally ready to go all-out. In the last page of the chapter, Ichigo was seen with a different appearance and it seems like he was successful in combining his Shinigami and Quincy powers. Next chapter, fans will see how powerful Ichigo has become.
Now, fans over Manga Helpers believe this is the result of Inner Ichigo and his Hollow counterpart finally becoming friends or at least, partners. Once being two separate entities now acts like Yin and Yang. There will be a slight conversation between the two and the Hollow version will be so inclined to kill Yhwach after fooling them of being their Zanpakutou.
Also, some fans were not pleased with how the author Tite Kubo portrayed the Quincies. Initially thought to be a clan helping the Shinigamis in eradicating Hollows, they turned out to be a clan that only wanted power as they conquered territories after territories.
Meanwhile, fans at Saiyan Island were thrilled to see Ichigo's new and powerful form and they expect him to do some heavy damage in the next chapter. Also, they believe Isshin and Ryuken will finally arrive and assist their sons in their respective battles.
