The 2015 Grammys had some major shockers. They included Taylor Swift's outfit, and a hint that there would be another microphone-stealing incident involving Kanye West.
Swift was unable to add to her impressive collection of seven Grammy Awards. But she still had that "wow factor" at the 2015 Grammy Awards, sporting a sizzling Elie Saab gown at the music industry's biggest award ceremony.
How could one best describe Swift's choice of attire? Some onlookers compared her to the character Elsa is Disney's animated film "Frozen," according to Star Pulse.
Taylor was also seen backstage chillaxing and being photographed with West. That was noteworthy due to an incident at the 2009 MTV Music Awards.
During that awards ceremony, West jumped onto the stage, grabbed the microphone from Swift, and then started ranting that Beyonce should have won Swift's award. What a difference six years can make!
It seems that indeed, "time heals all wounds." Both Swift and West were spotted laughing together, maybe implying that the two are willing to keep the incident in the past.
In an interesting event during the 2015 Grammys, West approached Beck as the latter was receiving his Album of the Year award. While it seemed like there would be another microphone-grabbing moment, West returned to his chair.
What was it all about? After the Grammys show, West stated in an interview that he believed Beyonce deserved the award more than Beck did.
It appears that Beck had no ill-will towards West about the incident. In fact he observed that, "I thought she (Beyonce) was going to win." according to Yahoo.
In another interesting twist, Sam Smith had promised in an interview in "Rolling Stone" that he would give his award for Album of the Year to Beyonce if he were to win it.
