"The Flash" season 3 could see Violett Beane's character Jesse finally getting her super speed.
In an interview with Bustle, the actress said that she cannot wait to see her character get into a suit and run after the bad guys.
During the finale episode for "The Flash" season 2, Jesse helped Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and his team to get rid of Zoom (Teddy Sears).
While this was happening, Jesse also reached out to Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and asked the latter to run some tests on her to see whether or not she has turned into a metahuman after she got hit by the dark matter when they recreated the particle accelerator explosion.
However, Jesse's dad Harry (Tom Cavanagh) told her that she isn't a metahuman.
According to Design N Trend, there's a huge possibility that Jesse and Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) didn't turn into metahumans immediately after they were hit by the dark matter. This doesn't mean though that they wouldn't turn into one eventually.
Case in point, it took quite some time for Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to find out that he was also turned into a metahuman by the same dark matter. Now, the character is able to predict the future.
Meanwhile, Beane said that she's perfectly fine with The CW series portraying her character Jesse as a normal human being first. After all, viewers need to know first who she is and what her weaknesses and strengths as a human being are.
"I think that's a really smart idea because people want what they can't have - and everyone's wanting all these speedsters to be out there running together. Once that happens, people will be like, 'Ah, whatever, they're all running fast.' So it's really smart way to do things on their end for sure," she said.
In other news, Beane previously said in a different interview that she's also worried that she would be required to run when she gets her powers.
According to her, such scenes would be so awkward because she has really weird run.
"The Flash" season 3 will premiere on The CW sometime this year.
