Bret Hart had a lot of negative comments about Seth Rollins during an interview last year about how unsafe the former WWE World Heavyweight champion is in the ring. According to the latest rumors, Rollins is very unhappy about Hart's remarks but he hopes to have a meeting with The Hitman to discuss the issue.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated in November 2015, Hart said the Rollins was unprofessional when he broke John Cena's nose with a knee during a match. He also called him reckless for getting his knee injured while on the WWE's European Tour.
Those were a series of unfortunate accidents, including the botched powerbomb on Sting, that are part of the wrestling business. It is also unfortunate that Rollins was part of all the three incidents with one sending Sting to retirement and the last one costing him a good seven months.
However, the 30-year-old was very hurt by the comments made by Hart and he let it all out during his appearance on Chris Jericho's Talk is Jericho podcast. He grew up idolizing The Hitman and it was very hard for Rollins to get criticized like that.
"I haven't seen Bret since then, but I know he comes from a different era when he worked through a lot of stuff, but man, that sucked. That hurt my feelings," Rollins said.
The Architect also mentioned that he would love to have a meeting with Hart and discuss his remarks. He said that he is not looking for a confrontation but just an explanation and possible experience he can learn from all three incidents.
Hart is known for his bitter comments on almost everything WWE despite the relationship between both sides being good. He is probably coming from experience when talking about unsafe workers in the wrestling business.
The Excellence of Execution retired from wrestling when he suffered a massive concussion in a match with Bill Goldberg. He got hit with a stiff kick to the head that literally ended his career. The 58-year-old is just worried that one of the top stars in the WWE had three accidents in a span of several months.
Nonetheless, fans are excited about the return of Rollins and he will be challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE title he never lost at "Money in the Bank." As for Hart, he recently appeared at "Payback" to help Natalya in her match against Charlotte. He is also being monitored every three months as he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February.
