Exhibits cover the history of Chinese roses, the geographical distribution of the species, early rose fossils, and depictions of the flower in art, ceramics and clothing.

Audio-visual displays create blooming roses, as well as interactive games to test rose knowledge and the chance for visitors to breed their own virtual rose.

The rose-themed parks include artistic installations, and rose jam, rose tea and rose wine for purchase.

Daxing, the district where the museum is based, is famous for growing Chinese roses.

The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and entrance costs RMB100.
