The last chapter of "Bleach" was action-packed as fans finally got to see how much damage Ichigo can do in his new form. In the next chapter, fans will get to see more of Ichigo's new powers as he is set to unveil his new and improved Bankai.
Last chapter began with Yhwach commending his opponent for how strong he has gotten. Ichigo was able to use his Getsuga Tenshou along with Gran Rey Cero, almost cleaving the Almighty Sternritter in half. Ichigo immediately follows up with a quick attack but it was deflected as well.
Ichigo, trying to find a way to outsmart his opponent, decided to go for a very powerful attack while his opponent is underestimating him. However, Yhwach easily saw through Ichigo's plan and quickly raised his guard up. He finally realized how powerful Ichigo is with the combined power of a Shinigami and a Quincy.
Yhwach revealed that he can also wield two swords, and he also set-up traps all over the area, which caught Ichigo off-guard. Once again, the villainous entity bragged about his ability to foresee the future, while Ichigo was on his knees after getting hit by the traps. Fed up with all his opponent was saying, Ichigo finally unleashes his Bankai.
Now, fans over at Manga Helpers speculate on what type of Bankai Ichigo has now. Fans believe it will retain some of its former attributes such as blinding speed and it will also give Ichigo a more powerful Reiatsu.
Also, fans expressed their discontent on how the author Tite Kubo structured the story arc. Coming from someone like Aizen, who was deemed as one of the best constructed villains in the series. Since then, the other villains lacked substance like Yhwach, whose father and son connection with Ichigo seemed forced.
Meanwhile, fans over at Reddit believe Ichigo unleashing his Bankai will cause some serious damage against Yhwach, provoking the latter to go all out as well. Also, some believe it will be the best time for Isshin to back-up Ichigo in the battle with Yhwach.
