‘Game of Thrones’ (GOT) Season 6 finale spoilers: Episode 9 & 10 plot details revealed, what to expect from ‘Battle of the Bastards’ and ‘The Winds of Winter’

"Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6 finale is fast approaching but before that the show is set to feature episode penultimate segment. Finally, HBO has released the synopses for episode 9 (penultimate) and 10 (finale). However, the network continues the trend of keeping the description brief and cryptic. It hasn't given out much but teases what fans can expect from the final two episodes of HBO's most popular series. Here are few spoilers for the next two chapters of "Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6. "Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6 episode 9 (penultimate) is titled "Battle of the Bastards." The description for it reads: "Terms of surrender are rejected and accepted."

Episode 10 (finale) is titled "The Winds of Winter" based on George R.R. Martin's upcoming sixth novel in the series "A Song of Ice and Fire." An official synopsis for it reads: "Season Finale. Cersei faces her trial."

While the network has refrained from revealing much about the forthcoming episodes, speculations, and rumoured spoilers are running rampant. The title of "Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6 episode 9 is a direct reference to the long-awaited battle between Jon Snow and Bolton Ramsay wherein House Stark attempts to reclaim Winterfell, which happens to be Stark's ancestral home. The 60-minute long penultimate will see the highly-anticipated war between the two houses.

Meanwhile, based on the description of "Game of Thrones" (GOT) episode 06X09, Independent UK is speculating that at least one of the houses will consider surrendering for the sake of saving thousands of lives on the battlefield. It is hard to imagine that Ramsay will think of giving up, Jon Snow could be the one considering surrender. However, it is said that Team Stark is "destined to win" the war especially if they have Knights of the Vale, who are the best warriors in Westeros, on their side.

As for "Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6 episode 10, it is hard to predict what happens in the finale. The television show is ahead of the book, thus, it is hard to conclude what happens in the final episode before the show closes. The website is speculating that Cersei's trial will only be "second fiddle" to the main storyline that might involve Bran, the White Walkers and the Tower of Joy.

Several media outlets are speculating that the kingdoms are currently involved in battles for power. However, a bigger threat, the White Walkers, are moving closer for the biggest battle in the history of Westeros and Essos.
