"Dragon Ball Super" indeed sparked considerable interest among anime fans, especially with the introduction of Black Goku in "Future Trunks arc" appearing first in episode 47 of the anime. However, with the leaked information of the green looking Kai with the potara earring during introduction video of "DBS," speculations seemed to have been raised to higher level.
Almost every "DBS" fans have been closely monitoring any changes and additions in the anime. And one of the most noticeable characters that were noticed during the introduction video was the peculiar colored green character. In the latest updates online, it was recently announced that the name of the character is God King Zamasu, according to Crunchyroll.
Since there are no other details given apart from the name, it was highly speculated that Zamasu will surely be a strong character in the "DBS." Given his status as God King, many fans believed that he might be as strong as Beerus or even on par with the Omni-King.
Following the scarcity of information, the only sure thing about the green Kai character is his name based on translation, and thus, it cannot be helped for unconfirmed leaks to proliferate. According to some details, God King Zamasu comes from another universe and could have a close link with Black Goku in Future Trunks timeline.
Another question that has been raised online is whether Zamasu is a good or evil character, will he be furthering the evil of Black Goku, or will he be there to stop Black from destroying earth or the rest of the universe?
Though the questions raised were quite relevant and valid, still answers about the role of the God King is still unknown. Like the origin and identity of Black, Zamasu's character also remains a mystery. Guess we would just have to wait for the "Future Trunks arc" to unfold and give clarification to these new "Dragon Ball Super" mysterious characters.
In a slightly related news, photos of the "Dragon Ball Fusions" video game has been leaked online showing the fusions of "DBS" characters, including new look on Beerus and Whis fusion.
The highlight of the games is that any character can fuse to become a new warrior, according to Saiyan Island. And if such fusions are possible in the anime version of "Dragon Ball," then many unstoppable characters will be born, like "Beerusis or Whills," the unstoppable fusion between Beerus and Whis.
