Avid fans have been waiting for latest updates on the upcoming "Fast 8" movie. In a recent interview, cast member Kristofer Hivju has hinted of what fans can expect from the eight installment of the film and the challenges awaiting Vin Diesel's character.
The "Game of Thrones" actor was candid during his interview with Yahoo Movies where he shared how much he enjoyed watching the "Fast and Furious" movies. Hivju revealed that he has always been a big fan of the said film series and even stated that he grew up watching the seven movies. He was eventually signed on as a cast member for the upcoming "Fast 8" film in April. The Norwegian actor portrays one of the villain Cipher's (Charlize Theron) henchmen.
He described the script of the upcoming eighth installment of the "Fast and Furious" film as "so crazy." Hivju teased that the film's storyline is filled with "such heart and soul and guts and ambition." He even compared the movie to a rollercoaster ride. However, he did not disclose other details of the film's plot.
Hivju was careful not to share many "Fast 8" details. Although, he has hinted that his character may be responsible for implementing many of Cipher's orders that will result in the various challenges that Dom and his gang will encounter in the film. The actor also teased that his character will have a hand in making Diesel's character Dom's life "horrible." He even shared that he may be involved in one of the high-speed car chases that the movie has been known for.
Meanwhile, one of the newest addition to the film's cast member includes the British star Helen Mirren. The multi-awarded actress made the revelation during an interview with Elle magazine. She also shared her excitement about potentially having the chance to drive a car in the movie. Mirren even revealed her love for driving and commented that it was one of the conditions that she asked for during negotiations.
"Fast 8" has been slated for release on April 14, 2017.
