"The Flash" season 3 will return in the next few months, and viewers can expect some changes in the lives of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and his friends.
According to Cinema Blend, Barry has received immeasurable support from Central City and its residents throughout the first two seasons. However, this could change in the upcoming episodes.
The publication noted that "The Flash" has become appealing to viewers because it has a much lighter tone compared to its counterpart "Arrow."
Other than this, the residents of Central City and Barry's friends typically support all of his decisions.
One factor may have to do with the fact that Barry's identity as The Flash is being kept a secret from majority of the people.
Unfortunately, Barry doesn't always make the best choices and decisions in his life. In fact, he recently altered the timeline to be able to reunite with his mom. At first glance, Barry's decision could be regarded as extremely selfish because he only altered the timeline for his own personal needs.
To make things worse, altering the timeline has very serious consequences.
Meanwhile, the same publication said that the use of the time travel feature in "The Flash" should be limited when the series kicks off its third season.
In season 2, time traveling became a central theme on the show and majority of the characters were able to go from one earth to another.
Even though it is understandable that time traveling was necessary to introduce the new characters, lesser time traveling may also benefit the show really well.
Unfortunately, it is unclear if this will be possible especially since new characters are still going to be introduced in the show.
In other news, the cast of "The Flash" season 3 have already started filming for their upcoming episodes.
At present, they are in Vancouver and some of them have also shared their set photos via Twitter and Instagram.
"The Flash" season 3 will premiere on The CW this September.
We start filming on Wednesday. I just finished reading the 2nd episode. This is going to be the strongest start to a season yet.⚡️ #TheFlash
