Taylor Swift has added another achievement to her list of accomplishments with Forbes naming the singer as the highest paid celebrity of the year. Meanwhile, the singer's relationship with Tom Hiddleston appears to be getting serious with the couple talking about the future and children.
The "Bad Blood" singer has topped Forbes' Celebrity 100, a list of the year's highest-paid celebrities in the world. Swift has earned $170 million where the majority of her earnings came from the pop singer's "1989" concert world tour. The multi-awarded musician has earned around $5 million in ticket sales for each of her concert performances.
Swift's "1989" world concert tour also amassed gross earnings of $200 million in North America alone. The singer and songwriter have already smashed the record that the band Rolling Stones previously held. The British rock band had the highest North American tour sales prior Swift's "1989's" concert tour. Apart from concert performances, Swift also had several lucrative endorsement deals with big name brands such as Keds, Diet Coke and the Cupertino-based tech giant, Apple.
The British singer Adele also made it to the top 10 of Forbes' Celebrity 100. The singer landed at the ninth spot with $80.5 million. The "Someone Like You" crooner has been recognized as the only celebrity in Forbes' list who made more than half of her earnings from her music. Adele released her "25" album in 2015 that contained the hit track "Hello."
In other news, Swift and her boyfriend Tom Hiddleston have been spending a lot of time together. The two have even traveled to several countries since news of their romance surfaced in June. The Hollywood couple's relationship appear to be progressing swiftly with the two stars already talking about children. A source told E! Online that the "Thor" actor is the type of man that Swift would want to marry.
The source continued that Swift and Hiddleston have both discussed where they see themselves in the future and what they want to have. The subject of children was also a topic that the couple tackled, along with other serious life discussions. Swift was said to have even described the actor as someone who would make a great father.
News of Swift and Hiddleston's new romance first sparked in June when the two stars were photographed sharing a sweet moment and kissing each other. The couple has already met each other's parents and were recently spotted in Australia.
