Nintendo provides the Pokémon GO app as free download but in order to access key elements of the game and achieve optimal gameplay, occasional purchases need to be made. But it shouldn't be the case as cheats, tips and tricks are out there to make the augmented reality game absolutely free.
Pokémon GO was designed with in-app purchase option, which is a way for players to speed up the process of collecting items, cut down some leg works and easily level. But reaching for the pocket, in most cases, is unnecessary if players are willing to put in decent amount of effort. Rewards are actually available at no cost at all.

Conquering and defending gyms will bring in coins
One key component of mon GO is engaging battles or as described by Heavy.com is really about searching out a gym, conquering the spot and then defending. It is actually the fun or exciting part of the game but more so the act of defending a gym, for instance, will entitle a player to collect 10 coins.
"The more gyms you conquer and defend, the more coins you will receive daily," the report said, adding that the deeper players get involve in the GO gameplay - that is conquering and defending gyms - the more coins they win and get to keep, which can then be used to progress in the game.
Rack up on Poké Stop visits
To keep the stocks of Poke Balls, coins, eggs and incense on high level players need to make regular drops on Poké Stops. But according to PC World, swinging by on every Poké Stop that can be found would better serve players. "If you want to stock up on items without spending money, you should make sure you're hitting every Poké Stop along the way," the report said.
Each visit will lead to hauls of free item and the same report said that the inventory of a Stop previously visited gets refreshed every 10 minutes so it pays to visit again. Such simple hack will lead to balls, eggs and any other items climbing up without the need to spend a dime.
Take advantage of lures
One way to collect more Pokémon but with less amount of walking is to be on the lookout for lures, which PC World said are normally found on packs of players in a given location. How to best benefit from these lures?
"Keep an eye on your map when playing and look out for the Stops that have little pink flower pedals floating around them - that means it has an active lure, and you have a limited amount of time to take advantage of it," PC World said.
Pokémon for free
Poké Stops give out free Pokémon but in the form of eggs, which when incubated will surely hatch and morph into pocket monsters, and there is a chance that a rare Pokémon will come out of the shell. The free stuff, however, can only be realized following incubation and some kilometers of works, PC World said.
