It was just in 2015 when the 10th installment of the "Mortal Kombat" video game franchise was published by Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment. Recently, latest news about the game points out to another DLC pack set to be released during the Evolution Championship series (EVO).
Recent reports are loud that the creative director of NetherRealm Studios and the co-creator of the game, Ed Boon, dropped some hints to all supporters of the franchise. It was said that Boon tweeted last month about revealing some details of "Mortal Kombat X" DLC Pack 3, known as "Kombat Pack 3," but he did not confirm the date of when this big revelation will happen, Mammoth Gamers reported.
Despite of that, the publication noted a possible date of when this revelation will take place. The report cited that Boon capitalized the letters E, V and O in his tweet, which is why fans of the game are confident that the big news about the "Mortal Kombat X" "Kombat Pack 3" will be unveiled during the upcoming EVO 2016.
It can be remembered that Boon kept fans hooked-up by asking some questions through a poll. Reports said that it was in April when the co-creator released a poll question on his twitter account, stating what character did the fans mostly missed in "Mortal Kombat XL."
Since Boon may have already confirmed the release date of the "Mortal Kombat X" "Kombat Pack 3," fans are now heavily speculating on what characters will be included in the upcoming downloadable content.
Rumors are loud that Sindel, Fujin, and Smoke may be among the characters to be added in the game through "Kombat Pack 3." Speculations are also loud that Rain, Li Mei and Jade may also be included in the anticipated DLC pack. In spite of that, there is still no confirmation coming from Boon whether the mentioned characters are indeed included in the "Mortal Kombat X" "Kombat Pack 3," Game N Guide reported.
The Evolution Championship series will be held from July 15-27.
