Shots fired! Kim Kardashian took to Snapchat on July 18, Monday to share video footage that apparently proves that Taylor Swift was aware of Kanye West's controversial line in his song "Famous."
Last month, in her interview with GQ magazine, Kardashian revealed that she had video evidence to prove that Swift approved the infamous "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/I made that bitch famous" line in West's "The Life of Pablo" track.
Swift's reps have flat-out denied Swift's knowledge or approval of the lyrics saying that West called Taylor asking her to release his track on her Twitter account but she declined and warned the rapper against releasing a song that carried such a "misogynistic" message. However, Kim K's video seems to be telling a different story.
The reality star posted a Snapchat video of the phone call between her husband and T-Swift, in which the "Bad Blood" can be heard signing off on the controversial line.
The video shows West on speakerphone with Swift, reading out the lyric to her and asking her what she thought about it.
"I think this is a really cool thing to have," West says in the video, according to Pitchfork. "I know, it's like a compliment, kind of," Swift responds. "Yeah, I mean, what's dope about the line is it's very tongue in cheek either way.
Swift then expresses her appreciation over West's deicison to inform her about the line and ask her if she was okay with it before the track went live.
Kanye replies by saying that he told her about the line because he considers her as a friend and felt that it was his responsibility to take Swift's approval before releasing the track. "Relationships are more important than punchlines, you know," he says.
