Miller, 36, signed with the Nuggets last year. He made 47 appearances in the last season with a career-low 7.9 minutes per game. Despite of his short time in the game, he still made 36.5 percent of his 3-point shots. This made him valuable to his team, CBS Sports reported.

His 16 years in the league earned him two championships with the Miami Heat alongside his close friend, LeBron James. They also played together in the Cleveland Cavaliers for another two years. He also led the Florida Gators to the 2000 National Championship game. His current record is 10,945 points, 571 steals and 2,645 assists.

On the other hand, another former Kentucky Wildcat is ready to sign an NBA contract. Jamal Murray will be signing his rookie deal with the Nuggets. He is now a multi-millionaire after a season with Lexington where he played under John Calipari.

Murray led the Wildcats with his 20 points per game in 2015-16 seasons. It is the highest individual scoring average in University of Kentucky in coach Calipari's time. His amazing performance paved his way to the NBA, as reported by SB Nations's A Sea of Blue.

He has a record of 720 points this season which gave him the school's freshman single-season scoring record beating Brandon Knight's 657 points in 2010-11. He is in the eighth place in all-time among all players in U.K.'s history. He now gets a two-year deal with the Nuggets holding options on his third and fourth years in the league. During the NBA Las Vegas Summer League, Murray got three 20-plus point games which include a 29-point game where they won over Miami.

Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets reportedly offered Dwayne Wade a two-year deal in excess of $50 million trying to get him off from the Heat. However, he opted to sign with the Chicago Bulls instead.
