"Tales of Berseria" has just revealed its new characters, mini games, and DLC costumes on Famitsu. Bandai Namco Entertainment Japan also released a new Japanese trailer that teases the video game's special first-print bonus.
The new issue of Weekly Famitsu has included different details on the upcoming Japanese role playing game. The issue, as cited by Dual Shockers, included a better look on two new characters, which are Artorious Collbrande and Seres, including their official translation of their names in English.
The first new character Artorius will be voiced by Kenyu Horiuchi, and was designed by Kousuke Fujishima. In the game, his age is 32 years old, his height is 187 cm, and his weapon of choice will be a long sword. He is the chief of the Abbey and became the savior when he appeared alongside several Malak three years ago when the world was in crisis.
The second new character is a Malak called Seres, which will be voiced by Satomi Arai. She can control fire and was Artorius' partner in the past, but an incident made her doubt his actions. She will be the one who sneaks in Prison Island to free the main protagonist Velvet from imprisonment.
The new issue also reveals the new minigames that the game franchise always has. Players will be treated to play the Waiter game, which is a popular mini game in a previous game title and the Rare Board game, which allows players to play against each other in two different modes. It was also confirmed that there will be three speedrun elements, which are based on hunting certain monsters.
Players will also expect several DLC costumes that will be released in Japan on Aug. 25. The different costumes that the Japanese version of the game will have are a set of costumes from "IdolMaster: Cinderella Girls," a set of High School clothes, a set of Main and Butler costumes, and a Fairy Tale set.
According to Siliconera, the new video game trailer, which can be viewed below, revealed a special chat with its characters. This will be a part of the game's first-print bonus for the Japanese copy. This special will be called the Special Dramatic Chat: Melon Gumi Volume.
The main protagonist thanked the fans for pre-ordering the video game. Laphicet, another game character, revealed the special chat for the fans that they have prepared.
