"Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington plays the bad guy in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." He finds it exciting as he has never played villain before.
Kit Harington has put away his heroic side as he has chosen to play a psychotic and unpredictable villain in a very big video game franchise. According to the Lazygamer, Harington has lent his talents and good looks to bring to life Admiral Salen Kotch in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."
Admiral Salen Kotch is the head of the Settlement Defense Front. Mad or Psychotic is the best term to describe Kotch as a villain. Playing villain excited Harington, who said he has never played a bad guy role before.
In an interview, the actor shared that all his friends play "Call of Duty." He also said that his brother is obsessed with it. Therefore, when the opportunity to be part of the franchise came, he admitted that it was a "no brainer" for him.
Personally, the 29-year-old star describes his COD role as "psychotic and unpredictable" and he enjoyed playing the part. Furthermore he said, "My take on Admiral Kotch is that he has an element of the dictator about him."
He added, "He's an invading commander, he's someone who wants to control a whole race of people and he feels that he's entitled to do that."
He also so said that one terrifying thing about the admiral is that death does not scare him. Finally, Harington said that Salen Kotch being a madman is the thing that makes him fun to portray.
"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is a forthcoming first-person shooter game by Infinity Ward and Activision. It is expected to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 4, 2016.
