Brushing your teeth can be a much more interesting activity with the Oral-B Pro 7000 SmartSeries toothbrush. It's unlike any other ordinary toothbrush out there since it fights both plaque and boredom.
According to NBC News, the new Pro 7000 SmartSeries uses Bluetooth to connect to a smartphone app that shows the latest news and weather forecasts while that person brushes his teeth.
Talk about toothbrush turning techie! There's absolutely no need to crank up the radio to listen to the news first thing in the morning while brushing your teeth, or parading in front of the TV with toothpaste dripping down your chin.
The app can also track usage, allowing the person brushing his teeth to monitor his brushing performance. The app is available for both iOS and Android users.
The toothbrush tracks how many times a person forgets to brush his teeth and knows if one brushed too fast for brushing to be effective. The innovative toothbrush comes with customizable modes and interchangeable heads, as well.
The steep price tag, however, may put off many people. The toothbrush retails for $220.
According to Tech Crunch, the Bluetooth may not justify the price at all. Still, gadget lovers may simply view it as something they need, along with all the toys they collect and use in their lives.
