"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" star Jared Padalecki recently opened up about Rory's (Alexis Bledel) love story in the upcoming four-episode revival on Netflix.
In an interview with US Weekly, the actor, who plays the role of Dean Forester, said that some fans will not be very pleased with Rory's choice of boyfriend or partner in the finale.
"There will always be some fans who are unhappy, but I think they'll be pleased with it," he said.
Padalecki added that series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino didn't necessarily decide to release four 90-minute revival episode just to come up with storylines that could ultimately upset loyal fans.
"Amy didn't come back to f*ck it up - she came back to do it right, and she did it right. And I get to watch it on August 1 because I get to do my voiceover and stuff," he shared.
Meanwhile, the "Supernatural" also slammed rumors that Rory and his character Dean will have plenty of time together in the series.
According to Padalecki, he was only on set for a day to film his scenes. He confirmed that Dean and Rory will reunite in the revival, but they won't definitely reunite romantically.
"It was fun. I wanted to be a bigger part - I think they wanted me to be a bigger part of it as well. But it was shot during 'Supernatural,' so I only did one day. But in that one day, it was really good amount of stuff that I got to do, and explained a lot," he said.
In other news, Netflix reportedly went back and forth when it came to deciding which guy should end up with Rory in the revival.
There are rumors that Logan (Matt Czuchry) is the one that Rory will most likely end up with.
Some rumors also suggest that the two characters would eventually tie the knot with the help of Rory's mom Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and the other residents of Stars Hollow.
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" will be released on Netflix sometime before Thanksgiving.
