"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" star Lauren Graham recently opened up about the four-episode revival on Netflix.
In an interview with TV Line, Graham said that she's happy to reprise her role as Lorelai Gilmore in the 90-minute episode from Netfix.
"It's not even a do-over, it's just to go back with an understanding of how rare it all was and is. Plus, I just love that material. I love it. I never get tired of it. It's my most favorite thing I've ever done. I was very thankful every day," she said.
Meanwhile, Graham said that she thinks no other opportunity on TV will ever come as close to what "Gilmore Girls" has been like for her.
"I relished it, and I'm ruined for life because there's no perfect fit I feel like for me than writing and that show. I'm so glad I got to do it again. I just can't even explain it. It was everything I wanted it to be and more," she said.
In other news, the "Parenthood" alum also talked about her co-star Alexis Bledel. According to her, she and Bledel have a very good relationship on and off screen.
"Just like the show, our dynamic has always been more like friends than mother and daughter. We are closer in age than, like, the kids who played my kids on 'Parenthood!' I have so much respect for her as actor and a person and a mom. And similar to the old show, we didn't see a lot of baby around because we had long scenes to do. So I was just proud of how she kind of has handled her personal life. She's very private. We were both kind of in different places then, and we're both more settled down now. So that was kind of cool, to reconnect," she said.
Meanwhile, "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life's" premiere date hasn't been confirmed yet by Netflix. There are rumors that the first episode for the revival will be released sometime before Thanksgiving.
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" also stars Melissa McCarthy as Sookie St. James and Scott Patterson as Luke Danes.
