"The Vampire Diaries" alum Nina Dobrev recently proved that she couldn't care less about the rumors suggesting she will return to The CW series.
While at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con, executive producer Julie Plec confirmed that she wants to invite some old cast members to return to "The Vampire Diaries" for its eighth and final season.
Even though the exec didn't name names, she already previously shared her plans to invite Dobrev back to the finale episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8.
Meanwhile, Dobrev never said anything about her return to the series. What is only known is that the actress is currently filming for her upcoming movie "XxX: The Return of Xander Cage."
In the film, Dobrev stars alongside Vin Diesel. The actress has also been posting photos from the set of her upcoming movie.
In other news, Dobrev is spending tons of quality time with her friends, most particularly "Dancing With the Stars" judge Julianne Hough.
Last week, Hough celebrated her birthday and Dobrev took some time to greet her via Instagram.
At that time, the actress shared a collage featuring herself and Hough during some of their most memorable hangouts.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. ET.
