"Sleepy Hollow" alum Nikki Reed was recently spotted watching over her husband Ian Somerhalder on the set of the hit The CW series.
Last week, the couple was photographed at the LAX on their way to Atlanta, Georgia for Somerhalder's "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 filming.
Ever since Reed and Somerhalder got married, the couple has always traveled together to the actor's location.
In fact, when Nina Dobrev was still on the show, there were rumors that the actress and Reed didn't even bother to say hi to each other.
Meanwhile, executive producer Julie Plec recently confirmed Reed's attendance through the photos that she posted on her Instagram account.
Some of the photos showed Reed dining with Somerhalder and the actor's co-stars.
Absent from the group shots was Dobrev who is rumored to return to "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 finale.
In other news, there are rumors that Reed is not very pleased with the producers' and the network's decision to invite Dobrev back to the show. However, the actress understands that her return as Elena Gilbert is necessary for the development of the series.
As of late, there are rumors suggesting that Reed will be joining Somerhalder on the set to make sure that when Dobrev and the actor reunite in the series, their relationship will remain strictly professional.
Now that the actress has already exited the FOX series "Sleepy Hollow," Reed will have more time to spend in Georgia with her husband.
In other news, the number of episodes that "The Vampire Diaries" will have for season 8 hasn't been confirmed yet by The CW. It is also unclear whether or not the upcoming installment will be the last for the series. What is only known is that Somerhalder will be leaving the franchise at the end of season 8.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 will premiere on The CW this fall.
