"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" recently released its official teaser for its four-episode revival on Netflix.
The short clip centered on Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and her daughter Rory (Alexis Bledel) talking about funny woman Amy Schumer.
Prior to the mom-and-daughter duo's conversation, some of the key places at Stars Hollow were first featured. This includes Luke's Diner and the Dragonfly Inn.
Meanwhile, Lorelai and Rory's conversation took place at their house.
"Do you think Amy Schumer will like me?" Lorelai asked her daughter.
"No," Rory replied.
"Why? It's not like I'm perpetually armed! Or on sundown I turn into those vampires with no sense of humor, or have that plant strapped to me and it only bloom once every 50 years and smells disgusting?" Lorelai said surprised.
Lorelai, who has apparently become a huge Schumer fan, cannot accept the fact that her idol might not like her.
However, Rory clarified that it's simply because Schumer so much into doing water sports and that's something that her mom isn't a fan of.
"Tell me, why wouldn't Amy Schumer like me?" she asked.
"Water sports," Rory answered.
"What?" Lorelai asked.
"Every single time I see her in a magazine she's on vacation doing water sports," Rory replied.
"Ooh, no, that would not work at all," Lorelai said.
In other news, the more than one-minute teaser also confirmed that there will be one 90-minute episode for every season of the year.
Towards the end of the teaser, the official release date for the first episode of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" was finally announced.
As previously mentioned, there were ongoing rumors that the Netflix revival will release its first episode before Thanksgiving. As of late, it is still unclear whether each of the episodes will be released separately or at the same time.
While speaking with another publication, series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said she wants each of the episodes to be released separately because she wants fans to wait and be patient before releasing the second, third and final installments.
However, this decision is ultimately up to Netflix and not up to them.
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" will premiere on Netflix on Nov. 25.
