Chinese musician Wang Feng is back in the news barely a week after his former girlfriend and the mother of his daughter, model Ge Huijie, was detained for drug use.
On Wednesday, China.org reported that another woman is the cause of the “Sing! China” mentor’s headache and Wang’s anger. A sex tape rumor is going around China involving the veteran rocker and singer Xu Geyang whom he is mentoring in the reality singing contest.
There is a video clip circulating online showing a woman who looks like Xu with a man whose face was not seen. However, the caption identified the man as Wang. His studio has denied the musician is the man in the video.
In a statement, the studio said, “Someone maliciously spread erotic images and a video on Weibo and WeChat, which extremely harmed Mr. Wang Feng's reputation, we have to make it clear that Mr. Wang Feng has nothing to do with the images and the video.”
Even “Sing! China” issued a statement which denied the woman in the video is Xu. It compared the tattoos on the woman in the video and Xu’s tattoos. The producer said they have complained the incident to the police and threatened to file a lawsuit against those spreading the rumors, including some media outlets.
Alleged nude photos of Xu Geyang with a tattoo on her left arm are circulating in the porn website asianscandal.net.
Wang’s wife, actress Zhang Ziyi, posted a message too on Weibo. She wrote, “The evil perpetrator's bottom line now is so low, it is beyond our imagination. To Xing's daddy, let me know who smears us when you find out; Xing's mum will personally take care of him or her.” Xing is the baby daughter of Wang and Zhang.
