Khloe Kardashian expressed worry over ex-husband Lamar Odom while she is on vacation in Cuba. The reality star said she is "paranoid" and "freaked out" over Odom's "different" behavior.
On last week's episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Khloe said that she has talked to Odom and was able to ask how he was. Khloe was on a holiday in Havana with her bestfriend Malika Haqq and sisters Kim and Kourtney, along with their kids and Kim's husband, Kanye West. Khloe had been trying to get in touch with Odom while she's out of the country but had a hard time getting in touch with him because of the limited Wi-Fi access there.
Last Sunday's episode, Khloe told Malika that Odom had said he was "great," yet this was making her "paranoid." "His behavior is just... different," she noted.
Khloe also revealed that she is bothered by Odom's "drinking alone." According to her, it makes her furious that her former husband is drinking when he is not supposed to, also noting that it "has not even been one year." She was referring to Odom's near-fatal drug overdose late last year, for which he spent months at the hospital, with her by his side.
In their conversation, Khloe told Malika that she does not know why she is worried that Odom was sounding "so good" and that she feels bad about questioning it. However, she told her former husband that it is going to take time to be able to trust him again.
Malika agreed with Khloe's observation about Odom's different behavior, but pointed out to her that everything is already "out in the open" and there are no longer any secrets as to what the retired NBA player "could potentially do again."
E News earlier reported that when Khloe and the rest of the gang arrived in Cuba, she found out that Odom had asked for cash. After hearing this, Malika told her friend that she "feels so bad" for her since she has already done her best to help Odom but she really has no control over what he would do next. "If he wants to run back into the gutter, he will do just that," Malika pointed out.
According to the entertainment news site, Khloe had been worried that Odom was going to run away while she is in Cuba and she revealed to Malika that he was just waiting for her to leave town. She confessed that even when they were still married, Odom already had the habit of running away when she is not home.
After returning from their trip, Khloe got a call from Odom and she and Malika noticed his heavy breathing. He assured them that he is fine and he was not smoking.
Khloe said that she is relieved that Odom had been okay, but noted that after going through life experiences, she realized that there is nothing she can do. Odom "has to take control of his life," she said.
