Trouble with women appears to run in the family of South Korean actor Park Yoochun whose second accuser of sexual assault was recently arrested and detailed by Seoul Gangnam Police.
The Bitbag reported that the JYJ singer and actor’s younger brother, Park Yoo Hwan, also has a lawsuit filed by a woman. The woman accused the Hallyu star’s brother of ending their common-law marriage unilaterally. She sought from Park Yoo Hwan monetary compensation for the mental and physical damage on her that was caused by their break up.
AllKPop reported that the court set the date of the hearing on Aug. 9. However, beyond that date, there are no other details on the lawsuit. C-Jes Entertainment, which represents Park Yoochun and Park Yoo Hwan, said in a statement, “The lawsuit involving Park Yoo Hwan is a civil case, for which the verdict will be determined in court. We will do our best to prevent any defamation of character on Park Yoo Hwan during the duration of his court case. We will release an official statement once the court has come to a verdict.”
The two brothers are apparently living parallel lives insofar as trouble with women is concerned. At least in Park Yoochun’s case, two of his four accusers are now in the hands of police and facing charges. The cousin of A, the actor’s first accuser, has also been arrested by police.
However, Park Yoo Hwan’s case and headache just started. He is also an actor like his older brother.
