Two down, two more to go. Park Yoochun’s accusers are paying the price for saying he sexually assaulted them.
It turns out that it is not only the first accuser, tagged in court documents as A, but also his second accuser has been booked by the Seoul Gangnam Police. According to JYJ3, on the recommendation of the prosecution, she was also transferred and charged with false allegations in July, even earlier than A who was arrested on the first week of August.
Besides A, also arrested was her male cousin Hwang. The two were transferred from the Seoul Suseo Police Station to Seoul Central District Public Prosecutors’ Office on Aug. 9. The court granted the request of the Seoul Gangnam Police Station to arrest A because of concerns that evidence would be destroyed, such as fixing their testimonies.
According to Yonhap News, the police wanted to also include in extortion charges Hwang’s friend and A’s boyfriend. The police applied to include the three men in the application for a warrant of arrest, but the court rejected their application to include the cousin’s friend and the boyfriend.
Judge Jo Eui-yeon of the Seoul Central District Court, who handled the questioning of the suspects before they were jailed, said the warrants were issued for A and Hwang because “There is the fear of the destruction of evidence or of them escaping when they are summoned for the truths of their criminal conduct.”
