A set of "Final Fantasy 15" DLC packs will soon be released that will introduce new weapons and new episodes. Meanwhile, the latest trailer has unveiled some of the challenges and mini-quests that players will encounter in the game.
Anticipation for the latest installment of the "Final Fantasy" gaming franchise has been high. Avid fans of the game have been looking forward to the new adventures and quests that have been incorporated into "Final Fantasy 15." Ahead of the gaming title's launch, Square Enix has announced it will soon release new DLC packs for the game.
Players can further enhance their gaming experience with the addition of six DLC packs. A report posted on Dual Shockers has identified the titles and features of each of the upcoming downloadable packs. Gamers can get free decorative items in the "Holiday Pack" that will allow them to make their gaming world brighter and more colorful.
On the other hand, the "Booster Pack" will introduce a set of weapons that game characters can equip for free. These new weapons are said to be powerful devices that can make fighting sequences even more exciting. Apart from the two item packs, three new DLCs will introduce new episodes to the upcoming game.
The packs, named "Episode Gladio," "Episode Ignis" and "Episode Prompto," will give players the chance to control the said three characters. The said warriors serve as Prince Noctis' companions in "Final Fantasy 15." Each of the DLC packs will feature a new episode where gamers can play as Gladio, Ignis and Prompto in the characters respective quests.
Meanwhile, the sixth DLC pack simply titled "Expansion Pack" will provide gamers the chance to "play a completely new" game, as indicated in the same report. However, other details of the said pack were not disclosed. The game developer has yet to provide any information on the upcoming DLC content.
In other news, Square Enix has unveiled a new gameplay trailer that features what appears to be the start of the game characters' journey. The clip also contains some of the missions and in-game activities, Kotaku reported. The beginning of the nearly one-hour video has also shown a quick look at one of the big villains that Noctis and his gang will encounter in their quest.
"Final Fantasy 15" will be available on Nov. 29, the game's new release date, for both Xbox One and Playstation 4 consoles.
