It turns out that "Rap God" rapper Eminem and "6 God" rapper Drake are in good terms as the two recently proved that there is no truth to the rumors that they are feuding. In fact, they even have nothing but good words for each other.
Drake was in Detroit, Michigan, Eminem's hometown, on Aug. 16, Tuesday, for his "Summer Sixteen Tour" concert. His audience members were surprised when he introduced the "Rap God" rapper on stage.
"Detroit, make some noise for the greatest rapper that ever get on a mother---ing microphone," Billboard quoted Drake as saying during his recent concert in Detroit. After giving the "Detroit rapper the reverent introduction that he deserved, the Canadian rapper bowed to his surprise guest.
The two rappers then gave the audience a treat. After they sang their 2009 collaboration song "Forever," Eminem said, "It's an honor to share the stage with this man right here."
Prior to the concert, Hot 97 host Ebro Darden said on "Ebro in the Morning" that Eminem is preparing a diss track against Drake. It was allegedly because of Drake's beef with Shady Records affiliate Joe Budden.
In 2009, Drake, Eminem, Kanye West and Lil Wayne collaborated in the song "Forever." They co-wrote the song with Canadian hip-hop producer Matthew Jehu "Boi-1da" Samuels, who has also produced for Meek Mill, Kendrick Lamar, Nas Bizzle, Talib Kweli, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj and The Diplomats, among others.
In other news, it was recently revealed that competitive swimmer Michael Phelps is a fan of Eminem. The playlist of the most decorated Olympian of all time has a mix of songs from Eminem, Young Jeezy and Eric Church, according to New York Times.
