Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has recently announced the "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" release date for Southeast Asia as fans of the anime series get ready to experience the story in another way.
The Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization game will be launched in the region on November 8 for the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4. There is no news yet on whether the game will be available for the Nintendo Wii U, Xbox One or even the PC platform although there could still be hope in the future.
Countries that will get the new game from Bandai Namco are Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore. Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization players will be able to explore the virtual world and upgrade their characters' skills with the Skill Tree System, GMA News has learned.
The Skill Tree System will be similar to other RPG games which allow upgrading of their character's skills and attributes. For instance, players can choose which fighting skills their characters can learn throughout the game to suit their playstyle in the long run.
Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization will also be released in North America and Europe on November 8, PlayStation Lifestyle reported. Interested players can already pre-order the game for PS4 in North America and they will receive the exclusive Costume Pack.
Pre-orders with the Costume Pack will get the God Eater costumes for the characters, a Maid Costume and the kinky Nightwear Costume for Asuna. These are for the North America pre-orders as the Europe players will get similar yet different costumes.
Players in Europe who pre-order will get three exclusive costumes. One nightwear for the female characters, two God Eater costumes, Livie's female costumes and Soma's male costumes. There will also be an exclusive lithography that will be signed by Reki Kawahara, the creator of the popular Sword Art Online anime.
Die-hard fans can also get the Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Collector's Edition which includes figurines of Kirito and Asuna, one steelbook case, an art book, mini-posters, a Blu-Ray disc and the game itself. Pre-orders are available for the collector's edition for $149.99 and will go up on the online shops soon.
