Game developer Arkane Studios has unveiled its latest gameplay trailer for "Dishonored 2" that features a look at challenges in the new Clockwork Mansion location, as well as Emily Kaldwin's abilities.
The upcoming game "Dishonored 2" is one of the highly anticipated gaming titles that has been set for release in 2016. The said gaming title is a sequel to the hit first-person stealth game "Dishonored" that was released in 2012. It features the return of the game's main protagonist Corvo Attano and new playable character namely Emily.
The new gameplay trailer that was unveiled at the 2016 Gamescom event has shown Emily's various abilities including a look at the game's new location, the Clockwork Mansion, Gamespresso reported. The clip starts off with an interesting view of the mansion that includes railroad tracks that lead inside the massive property. The next scene then shows a huge library with steampunk inspired designs.
The majority of the video has provided fans with a glimpse at some of Emily's lethal moves and powers. The game's new empress and Convo's daughter can be seen sneaking up on the mansion's guards and using a shadow-like ability to launch surprise attacks. Emily's kill moves were also featured that includes decapitation and slashing an enemy's body into several pieces.
Some of Emily's stealth moves that include leaping up to a higher level and jumping on foes has also been included in the said gameplay preview. It appears that the said character can use a jump move to thrust her sword into an enemy's head.
Apart from the said character's attacks moves, some of the villains featured inside the Clockwork Mansion were also unveiled. One of these villains includes a robotic soldier that has several long blades as its fingers.
In other news, Harvey Smith, the game's creative director, has shared some of Emily's unique abilities in an interview with Game Spot. He mentioned that Emily has the ability called "Mesmerize" given her empress role. The character also has the capability to do a "Domino" move where the same attack can be made on three or more enemies at the same. However, the said move has been expanded where the "Domino" effect can be done on enemies at two adjoining rooms.
Fans can look forward to an exciting sequel when the game is released. "Dishonored 2" will be available on Nov. 11 on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
