According to Gamespot, interested buyers who will preorder the game will get a free copy of the Definitive Edition of the first game. It will have better graphic features, and will have the same features that the first game had.
Bethesda marketing vice president Pete Hines said at the E3 2016 conference that the supply for the Collector's Edition will be limited. The Pip-Boy Edition of "Fallout 4" also had the same situation last year, which is why he suggested that interested buyers and collectors will have to get their preorders early to acquire their own copies. It has a price $99.99 in the listing on the Bethesda store.
The new sequel will explore the land of Karnaca, which was created using the Void Engine, a new custom engine by the game developers. The game will also feature two characters this time around, Corvo Attano, the main protagonist of the first game, and Emily Kaldwin, who is the daughter of the late Empress and Corvo, and also the rightful heir to the throne. Each of the characters will have their own storylines and will have their own unique abilities to try out, and the game publisher promises that they will have unique gameplay.
Arkane developer Harvey Smith explained on stage of the E3 2016 conference that the game will be set 15 years after the first game. The female protagonist has already matured and will be 25 years old. The game will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Nov. 11.
