The new Razer Blade Stealth is one of the world's most portable laptops, weighing 2.84 pounds and measuring 0.52 inches thin, CNET reported. The CNC aluminum chassis of the device houses Intel Core i7 processor for ultimate performance.
The Razer Blade Stealth now packs 1 TB of solid-state storage and 16 GB of fast memory for increased productivity and storage.
Chris Walker, Intel's general manager, said that the seventh generation Intel Core processor delivers new media capabilities for a 4K UHD experience.
The new device leverages the efficient performance of the processor to give users the power they require to play, watch and create at full capacity in an ultra-portable and beautiful design.
Razer Blade Stealth has a A QHD 2560 x 1440 IGZO touch-enabled display. Designers and professionals who require more pixels can upgrade to a 4K IGZO touch display for 100% Adobe RGB color saturation.
According to reports, Blade Stealth is getting a better and larger 53.6 Wh battery. The device can last up to 9 hours on a single charge. Min-Liang Tan, Razer CEO, said that the first Blade Stealth offered a combination of value, personalization and performance, with standard features that their rivals could not match in their higher-priced models.
Tan further said that their engineers have made their 2nd generation Ultrabook more powerful and improved the battery life significantly.
Furthermore, the Razer Blade Stealth is equipped with a backlit notebook keyboard that is powered by Razer Chroma technology.
The device connects with the Razer Core easily to deliver expanded connectivity options and external desktop graphics power through a single Thunderbolt 3 cable for transfer speeds to 40 Gigabytes per second.
The Razer Core is compatible with several of the newest graphics cards such as the AMD Radeon RX 480 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080. The Blade Stealth will begin at $999.
Meanwhile, speculations are making the rounds that the tech giant Apple will launch two sizes of the 2016 MacBook Pro with 15-inch and 13-inch screens, MacRumors reported.
The Apple device will have a sharper and sleeker design. The upcoming laptop will reportedly use USB-C ports for connecting displays and external hard drives.
