Amazon is reportedly negotiating a deal with Lenovo aiming to integrate Alexa, the voice powered smart assistant to Windows PC and related other devices. The rumored deal appears following the recent trend of incorporating the voice assistants into computers.

Prior to Lenovo, Microsoft has already inserted Cortana to Windows PCs in 2015. Besides, Apple's upcoming desktop with Mac OS will also inherit the technology as Siri.

PC Magazine has confirmed the negotiation move quoting an anonymous Lenovo executive. Details on the deal haven't been available from any confirmed source despite repeated attempts.

It is widely assumed that the talks are still in the early stage and still remains possibility for failing to reach an agreement. However, the negotiation meetings symbolizes Amazon's intention to incorporate Alexa to more high profile devices rather than keeping limited to its speakers, reports Mail Online.

Lenovo has already introduced Cortana in a huge number of PCs and replacement with Alexa is quite unlikely. Launched in 2014, Alexa has extended its arena from Amazon's Echo speaker to Fire TV and is being used as third party devices.

Using the voice assistant, users may order for Domino's pizza, ride on Uber or even turn on lights. Alexa now serves more than 3 million homes across the world and has attained 42,000 praising reviews from the consumers.

Jeff Bezo, the Amazon CEO reportedly intends to widen the arena of Artificial Intelligence while unveiling new horizons through Alexa. During early August, the ecommerce platform has announced its vision for using voice assistant in multiple dimensions. Following the announcement, more than 10,000 users have registered online while consenting for incorporating Alexa to different products.

Insertion of voice assistant technology has become a trend for electronic devices and following the trait, Amazon has decided to expand the arena of artificial intelligence towards new horizons. Upholding the motto, the ecommerce giant reportedly negotiates with Lenovo to incorporate Alexa to the PC and other high profile electronic devices. However, the deal is believed to be in the early stage and still may be abandoned at any time.
