According to rumors, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson were in a secret affair and many reports claimed that it is impossible that their sizzling on-screen chemistry is only for the screen.
It is very common for lead stars of a Hollywood film to build a certain affection while they work together on a movie, for example, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on the set of "Mr & Mrs Smith" or Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in "Twilight" series. Based on this trend, it is impossible to believe that a passionate film such as "Fifty Shades" trilogy, lead actors are only an on-screen couple. Many speculations have linked them in the past, however, despite Jamie Dornan's marriage to Amelia Warner, the rumors continued to do the rounds.
Several publications have reported Warner's jealousy with Dornan's co-star and this is why she was always present at the film sets, even during the filming of intimate scenes. However, despite her paranoia about protecting her husband and marriage, looks like the on-screen couple had their moments when the camera was off, according to crew on the sets.
Melty.com reported that filming "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" has done wonders for the relationship between cast members, especially the lead couple. The publication reports that during the filming of "Fifty Shades" sequels, the cast and crew became like family members.
Johnson admitted that it was not easy to play Anastasia Steele and that it was exhausting to spend hours acting out the intimate scenes with Dornan. She also said that it is not very comfortable, in fact, it became tiresome after a while. She also revealed that they were not having actual sex but to enact simulating scenes for hours can be grueling.
A newcomer on the sets of the film, Brian Daugherty, discussed Dornan's relationship with Johnson while filming. Daugherty will make his first appearance in the sequel as Anastasia's security guard. He revealed that despite the lead couple's tedious work, they were always fun together and that Dornan always acted around Johnson like they are old friends.
He also shared that the two were often spotted laughing and joking around between takes. When they were not working on the sets, Johnson and Dornan would simply sit around and enjoy each other's company.
No wonder Warner is jealous of Johnson for the lighthearted camaraderie that she shares with her husband. In fact, now that filming is complete, Dornan also admitted to missing his "Fifty Shades" co-star and crew, obviously infuriating his wife, according to a report by People.
