"Fifty Shades Darker" cast Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have always been linked ever since they started filming the first installment of the erotic romance film based from E.L. James' novel. They have an undeniable onscreen chemistry that even his wife Amelia Warner started protecting their marriage.
The new cast of "Fifty Shades Darker" Brant Daugherty, who will play Anastasia Steele's security guard, Sawyer, shed some light on the rumors that something is brewing between Dornan and Steele. Daugherty will make his debut on the "Fifty Shades" sequel, where he will be seen mostly filming with the Dornan and Johnson.
"They're so much fun together, they're like old friends," Daugherty told Variety. "I guess they are they did the first movie together, but when I came in they were always playing and laughing, and between takes they would sit at the table and just joke around. Jamie's got a wicked sense of humor."
Daugherty's statements are contrary to the rumors that have been circulating in the media for a long time that the "Fifty Shades Darker" lead stars are having an affair. While filming "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" back-to-back, Warner was present most of the time in the set. She was also there when the honeymoon scene was filmed, leading to speculations that she is just protecting her marriage given that the movie is mostly with intimate scenes.
However, it appears that Warner is watching over her husband most of the time. She moved to Canada with the children while Dornan was filming there. She also moved to France when the production transferred. Fans are speculating that Warner may not say it, but her actions show that she is jealous with Johnson having intimate scenes with her husband.
Dornan is married with Warner and they share two children together. Meanwhile, the "Fifty Shades Darker" actress looks like she has moved on from her breakup with musician Matthew Hitt. She is rumored to be dating her "Under the Silver Lake" co-star Andrew Garfield, who also split with his girlfriend Emma Stone.
Johnson and Hitt split in June after both had been busy with their respective careers, according to Daily Mail. Johnson was in Vancouver to film "Fifty Shades" trilogy while he was preoccupied with his American-Welsh indie rock band Drowners.
"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated for release in February 2017. Watch the official teaser trailer of the "Fifty Shades" sequel:
