Taylor Swift is working on her next album, one of her good friends gave the update at New York Fashion Week. Model Gigi Hadid, 21, shared the news after being thankful for her friend's support.
"She's obviously such a great friend, and you know she is starting to go back to work in the studio again," Hadid told Entertainment Tonight backstage during the New York Fashion Week's Tommy Hilfiger runway show on Sept. 9, Friday. "And really made time to be here for me, and I am so grateful for that."
Meanwhile, Katy Perry revealed she is willing to collaborate with her once close friend Swift when the latter would apologize. The "Roar" singer was waiting for a Cheesecake Factory delivery on Sept. 10, Saturday, and had an impromptu Twitter Q&A with her fans Katy Kats, US Weekly reported.
A fan then asked if she would be willing to collaborate with Swift on a song. Her reply sent tweeters into a frenzy. "If she says sorry, sure!"
The entertainment space is flooded with the recent news about Swift's love life. She is living a single life again, as she just broke up with boyfriend Tom Hiddleston. With disc jockey hunk Calvin Harris split in May, the 29-year-old singer has two breakups in six months.
Swift's first public relationship was with singer Joe Jonas back in 2008 when they were just teens. The young love lasted only for a few months with her telling Ellen DeGeneres Jonas ended it up in a 27-second phone call. She expressed her pain in songs, "Forever & Always," "Last Kiss" and "Better Than Revenge."
In 2009, the singer met "The Twilight" saga actor Taylor Lautner, her co-star in Garry Marshall's "Valentine's Day" released in 2010. Lautner was there during the infamous VMA interruption by Kanye West but broke his heart by ending things before the yearend. She apologized for that through her song, "Back to December."
Swift then managed to have an under-the-radar romance with singer-songwriter John Mayer which was not known until her single "Dear John" was released. Then she dated actor Jake Gyllenhaal in 2010 which inspired many songs from her "Red" album, including "All Too Well" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
The "Blank Space" singer did not publicly date for about a year and a half after splitting with Gyllenhaal. She then spent 2012's summer and fall with the member of the famous Kennedy family, Conor Kennedy; then with One Direction's Harry Styles with whom she was practically inseparable for weeks. Swift and Styles broke up after a New Year's fight but he inspired her songs "Out of the Woods," "I Know Places" and "Style."
Swift embraced her single life after Styles and it was until March 2015 when she gave dating a go again with Harris. The relationship lasted for 15 months and ended in May. Then she moved on with Hiddleston whom she spent some romantic time in a Rhode Island beach just two weeks after.
The Swift and Hiddleston romance was hot in weeks but ended after three months. The multi-awarded music artist is now single again for the first time after and a year and a half. It would be until her next release of an album that the world would know what she had been through.
