After everything they've been through, Hook and Emma are making their relationship status official in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6. The question, however, is will the romance last long? The show's creators revealed juicy details about what's to come for the couple "Once Upon a Time" Season 6.
"We pick up pretty directly from where we left them at the end of last season, where for the first time Emma professed her love without the duress of a life-or-death situation," co-creator Adam Horowitz shared with TVLine in an interview. "Of course, life-or-death situations come pretty quickly on our show, so that will change."
Perhaps, it is safe to say that fans are going to see Emma and Hook happy together in the first part of "Once Upon a Time" Season 6, but some drama is going to come between them along the way.
"No relationship is a fairytale. So if people are expecting no drama, we hope that they will enjoy what we are showing," executive producer Eddy Kitsis added.
It is speculated that much of this drama stems from a deep, dark secret Emma is keeping from Hook. In "Once Upon a Time" Season 6, Emma will keep a "very, very big secret" from Hook in the season premiere. According to TV Guide, this secret will definitely put some strain on the couple's relationship and even be an issue for Emma herself.
Not to mention, there are internal struggles each and every character is going to face in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6. As for Hook, "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 spoilers suggest he is on a path of redemption and will do his best to be more heroic. It was also said that he wants to take his relationship with Emma to the next level, but wedding plans are certainly not underway yet.
Emma and Hook have braved a lot of obstacles together, so fans are hopeful that whatever it is that may arise in the show is something they can overcome together.
"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will premiere on Sept. 25 on ABC. New characters will be introduced, especially those coming from the Land of Untold Stories.
