Selena Gomez has just been seen for the very first time since announcing she would be taking some time off from her hectic career and Twitter couldn't be happier.

As the "Same Old Love" singer enjoyed a late lunch at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Tennessee, fans snapped photos of the singer and quickly, a #SelenaIsBackParty hash tag began trending online.

One fan on Twitter pointed out that Gomez's hair was much shorter and in turn, several others pointed out that the singer may have lost her hair if she had been treating Lupus with chemotherapy.

Gomez and her fans posed for several photos during her outing on Saturday and quickly, those photos began circulating online.

Gomez's sighting on Saturday comes just weeks after she confirmed to People Magazine that she would be taking some time off to confront her issues with anxiety, depression and panic attacks. In a statement to fans on August 30, the singer confirmed that she had been facing mental hardships due to her Lupus diagnosis.

According to Gomez, she felt that the best way to take on her hardships was to do so head-on and be proactive. She went on to tell fans that she was thankful for her support and prepared to do whatever it takes to get herself healthy.

At the same time, a source spoke to the magazine and shot down the possibility of addiction issues, which have been rumored to be behind her decision to take some time off ever since her annoucement was made.
