Zack Addy is believed to have the most surprising character shift in the upcoming season of "Bones" as he turned out to be Temperance Brennan's savior.
Accordingly, Zack cannot be the dreadful serial killer "The Puppeteer." He is just a sidekick who will later on change his mind about killing Brennan, and instead, help the latter escape. Unfortunately, he is also expected to die because of what he did.
Zack is known to be a brilliant protégée but he is also believed to have a mental and psychological disorder. In the previous season, he managed to escape from the mental institution where he was supposed to be detained, and was prompted to kidnap Brennan. The paths of the two seem to be destined to cross since Brennan already had recurring dreams about Zack prior to the kidnapping incident.
The Hollywood Reporter also shared that the "Bones" Season 12 is said to be a shortened final season, thus, it will contain major revelations. It is speculated, among others, that the mystery about number 447 will be finally revealed. Also, Camille Saroyan and Arastoo Vaziri are rumored to tie the knot in "Bones" Season 12, while Booth and Brennan will be up for another adventure.
As to "Bones" Season 12's storyline, Emily Deschanel (Brennan) already hinted that this last season will incorporate a lot of heartbreaking scenes, although she reassured that the ending is just amazing as well.
In the meantime, Brennan's boyfried, Sully, is also expected to return in "Bones" Season 12. The speculation about his return heightened when he shared a photo of him with the lady casts of the show via Twitter. Accordingly, he will have a more dynamic and more surprising roles in this season, especially in relation to Brennan and Booth.
In addition, Nathan Gamble is reported to have joined in the series, wherein he will be doing an appearance in the early episodes of Season 12.
"Bones" Season 12 will only have 12 episodes and not 22. "Bones" Season 12 is set to be released sometime in early months of 2017.
